The Venue at Golborne

The Venue at Golborne is a lakeside tipi venue that sits 15 minutes from Chester. The deck and man-made beach are perfect for sitting back and enjoying the stunning sunsets that the Cheshire countryside offers. There are also opportunities for firepits and glamping for anyone so inclined. The wildflower meadows and woodland hammocks also offer a relaxed vibe for your perfect event.

The difference between our venue and others is the support we offer behind the scenes. The idea of getting married or having your party outdoors appeals to many people, and why wouldn’t it? The beautiful scenery, the fresh air. Plus the option to have every element of the day exactly as you planned it.

But doing everything yourself means that either you, or one of your friends or family, need to be on hand throughout the entire day, just in case something goes wrong. By choosing one of The Venue Portfolio venues, all of the behind the scenes stuff is left to us, so that you can relax and be part of the party.

Our 120-seat tipi comes with all the tables and benches, flooring, dance floor, fairy lights and lots more. 

At The Venue at Golborne we have …

A range of packages to suit your needs but all of them include:

• Tipi with seating for 120 on long tables (space for 180 evening guests), Dancefloor, internal lighting, fairy lights and coir matting throughout, Festoon lighting
• Luxury toilets that are so gorgeous you would not even know you were in a field.
• Generator and distribution so that you have power for lighting, sound, caterers, bar or wherever else it is required.
• Ongoing support, advice and recommendations throughout your planning process if you need it.
• Onsite coordination from set up to take down to make sure that everything is where you expect it to be. And everything is ready when you arrive.
• We also make sure that the day itself runs smoothly. You will get at least two coordinators on the day. One to make sure that timings are going as they should (E.g. The flowers are spritzed and that the champagne is chilled). The other is to make sure that all of the practical elements are looked after. And if there is a technical issue with the generator or toilets or the band have forgotten a particular type of cable, it can be resolved without you having to worry about it.

We are Flexible

Our flexibility also puts you in control of what you want your day to be.

You can bring your own caterers. Allowing you and your guests to eat exactly what you want them to without being pigeonholed into a set package. Most of our packages allow you to bring your own drinks without us charging corkage.
